My name is betastonework, and this is my personal website. I am a hobbyist pentester and beginner programmer. I hold multiple security certifications such as GIAC GPEN, Security+, and OSCP+. I have spent over 10 years in cybersecurity, ranging from defending networks on a 24/7 watch floor to analyzing networks and systems in a red team position. I've always been interested in pentesting and that has led to my budding passion for programming too, particularly Python. I'm hoping that this website can serve as some sort of portfolio and personal record of my journey. This website will host all my writeups from platforms such as HackTheBox, OffSec ProvingGounds, and TryHackMe. Additionally, when I find the time, I'll also write articles for a knowledge base as a record of what I've learned. Finally, if anyone cares to know my thoughts, feelings, and personal musings about cybersecurity, I also have a blog. I hope anyone who finds this site gets something out of it, and as always, happy hacking!
